Don't forget to learn the gender of nouns when you learn French vocabulary.

  • Une montre - A watch (F.)

  • Une bague - A ring. (F.)

  • Une alliance - A wedding ring (F.)

  • Une bague de fiançailles - An engagement ring (F.)

  • Une boucle d'oreille - An earring (F.)

  • Des boucles d'oreilles - Earrings (F.)

A pair of?


For earrings, you can either say "Earrings" or add "A pair of earrings"

  • Des boucles d'oreilles - Earrings (F. Pl.)

  • Une paire de boucles d'oreilles - A pair of glasses (F.)
